Abstract (EN)
In this study, which was conducted between June 2015 and May 2016 to determine the digenea parasitic fauna of some fishes caught from Sinop coasts of Black Sea, detailed data about digenea parasite species determined in captured fishes, microhabitats, infection values and host-parasite relationships were presented. In this research, 26 fish species (Engraulis engrasicolus, Trachurus trachurus, Sarda sarda, Mullus barbatus, Belone belone, Scorpaena porcus, Spicara smaris, Diplodus annularis, Solea solea, Chelidonichthys lucerna, Alosa immaculata, Neogobius melanostomus, Mesogobius batrachocephalus, Zosterisessor ophiocephalus, Gobius niger, Gaidropsarus mediterraneus, Ophidion rochei, Uranoscopus scaber, Trachinus draco, Symphodus cinereus, Symphodus tinca, Symphodus roissali, Parablennius sanguinolentus, Raja clavata, Arnoglossus laterna ve Squalus acanthias) belonging to 21 different fish families were examined. During in the present study, 31 digenea parasite species belonging to 13 families, namely Opecoelidae, Cryptogonimidae, Heterophyidae, Derogenidae, Monorchiidae, Acanthocolpidae, Hemiuridae, Bucephalidae, Faustulidae, Gorgoderidae, Lecithasteridae, Fellodistomidae and Lepocreadiidae were identified in 20 fish species. From these species; Peracreadium genu, Cainocreadium dentecis, Condylocotyla pilodora, Monorchis monorchis, Magnibursatus blennii, Magnibursatus bartolii digenean parasit species are new records for both our country and the Black Sea parasite fauna. Moreover Rhipidocotyle genovi, Pseudobacciger harengulae, Phyllodistomum acceptum, Phyllodistomum crenilabri, Proctoeces maculatus are report for the first time, in our country by this rearch. Helicometra fasciata digenean parasite infected in 9 different fish species and it has the widest host range. In the study, G. mediterraneus was infected with more digenean parasite species (8 digenea species) than the other fish species. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was used for examined in detail Morphological structures of digenea parasites. In the present research, distribution in host and morphology of the digenean parasites in different fish species collected from the Black Sea coast of Turkey were studied in detail. The findings obtained in this study has potential to determine the digenea parasite fauna of this region and a base of other investigations to be will done.
