Find the priority sport branch in Karaman investigate the reasons which are effect the choosing these branchs and evaluate to about improving group sport

The aim of this investigation find the priority sport branch in Karaman, investigate the reasons which are effect the choosing these branchs and evaluate to about improving group sport. 180 people studied in this investigation who made some sports branch in Karaman n 2006 ? 2007. In this investigation the people?s opinion have taken with Gallup poll method. There are two parts in this poll. In the first part determined the people?s personal properties. In second part determined the first sport branch chooses, what we need make for manage the public make sport, reasons for join the sport activity and if public interest to make a sport which reasons fettering them. These are determined with Likert scale. This datas which are determined with Gallup method, arranged in MS Excel for statistic procress. We used SPSS statistic program for the validity and responsibility. In this statistic tests we performed cross tabolation and chi square tests in SPSS. Surveys are answered by having meetings with the people who are individually interested in sport and who are on duty in specific areas of sport. In this work which we prepared as a master thesis, we tried to reach a consequence intended to all existing problems and solutions of the problems. It is observed that the prior reason affecting people while choosing a branch of a sport is the financial advantage of that branch of sport. Moreover, it is observed that number of plants and their sufficiency, which is one of the consequences of financial advantage, is also affective in choosing a branch. Most agree that, inclining people to sport and development of branches requires priorily, supporting competent sportsmen both financially and psychologically, arranging interesting sport organizations, increasing the number and sort of sport plants. The most important reasons for people not to have sport although they are interested in are lack of sport plant, equipment and activities for the intended branches. We pointed the some ways for solving these problems and some disappearing ways in the last part of our investigation.
