Özet (EN)

This research aims to investigate the influence of dark personality traits on organizational dissent. Furthermore, it examines the specific effects of the sub-dimensions of dark personality traits narcissism, machiavellianism, and psychopathy on the respective sub-dimensions of organizational dissent. The study employed a survey methodology as the primary data collection tool. The survey form was developed by adapting statements from the "Dark Triad Dirty Dozen Scale" to measure dark personality traits and the "Revised 18-Item Organizational Dissent Scale" to assess organizational dissent. The research population comprises personnel currently employed in the Çankaya district of Ankara under the Turkish Civil Servants Law No. 657, reaching a total of 392 participants. Data analysis was conducted using frequency and percentage analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, the Kaiser Meyer Olkin measure, Bartlett's test, reliability analysis, normality analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and simple and multiple linear regression analyses, all performed with IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0 software. The findings indicate that dark personality traits have a positive and significant impact on organizational dissent. Additionally, it was determined that each sub-dimension of dark personality traits exerts a positive and significant influence on both vertical (overt) and horizontal (covert/implicit) dissent, thus validating all hypotheses.
