Application of decision support system on vehicle management

Excessive number of vehicles and variations and the differences of distance among the tasks make more complicate the decision progress on vehicle management.In this study, a decision support system has been developed to support decision makers to get optimal task distribution for vehicles and workers who work Afyonkarahisar Municipal Vehicle Coordination Center by using geographic positioning database systems. Thus, a solution includes staff and vehicle productivity augmentation will be provided for multi-criteria decision making problems occur often in vehicle management with scientific approach.The developed system for vehicle management is compatible with every institution which has vehicle and staff coordination.
