Abstract (EN)

The study was achieved between May 2014 and April 2015 at the Karasu Creek and Sırakaraağaçlar Stream located in the province of Sinop. It was conducted to determine anionic detergent pollution and some physicochemical properties. Therefore, anionic detergent and 20 parameter pH, temperature, conductivity, salinity, ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential), dissolved oxygen, ammonium (NH4+), nitrate (NO3-), biological oxygen demand (BOD5), chemical oxygen demand (KOI), organic matter, carbon dioxide (CO2), total hardness, alkalinity, chlorophyll-a, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), nitrite (NO2-), phosphate (PO4-3), chloride ion (Cl-) , silicon measurements and analysis were performed to determine the water quality of both water. According to the data obtained, water Pollution Control Regulation in terms of Quality Criteria Class of inland water resources that, with regard to chloride ion, nitrite nitrogen values of Karasu River and Sırakaraağaçlar Stream that water quality class III and IV. Furthermore, their water quality was class II and III for dissolved oxygen and anionic detergent measurements. It has also been found that the total hardness and salinity values of the Karasu Creek is lower than the Sırakaraağaçlar stream. Examined in terms of other parameters, it was generally determined that water quality class I and II.
