Özet (EN)
60 pieces of soil and beach sand samples which are collected in Doğanyurt-Cide districts of Kastamonu Province were analyzed by gamma spectrometry method in this study. As a result of the radiometric analyzes, the activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th and 40K natural radionuclides were calculated. It is seen that the values found are below the world average. The radium equivalent activities, external hazard indices and gamma activity concentration indicies were determined the benefit of the concentration. Also, the measurements were done on site by G-M counter. Using these measurements, air-absorbed gamma dose and annual effective dose were specified on site. Also using 238U, 232Th and 40K radionuclides activities, air-absorbed gamma dose and annual effective dose have been calculated.
