Examination of solid wastes pursuant to energy economics: care of edirne

The increase in the environmental problems is inevitable during the increase in world population. Especially with the help of the highy developed technology, rapidly grown industrialization has led the society to consume more and more. For each product a specific resource or raw material is used and during that process, by-products are also formed. Apart from that, when each product completes its lifetime, they turn into waste as well as by-products in where society sees them as garbage mostly. Each waste is a resource that have a high potential to be reused or recycled even it may not known well. With each waste that goes to trash, a loss will always happen in terms of economics. In this research, waste management in Turkey and Europe, situation about the solid waste pursuant to energy economics in Turkey and Europe and comparison of the situation between them is analysed. Furhermore, the situation of solid waste in Turkey is examined with the example of Edirne where industrialization is not developed well.
