Abstract (EN)
As an alternative to traditional banking, a system was developed and the Islamic banking system was introduced in the 1960s. The importance of this period has increased and gained value. In our country, Islamic banking models first started to operate in the name of private finance institutions and in the following years they carried out their activities as participation banking. This system, which has been operating in our country in the 1980s, continues to exist today. Due to the increase in the importance of participation banking, there is an increase in the number of studies in this field in our country. The articles and works written in the field of participation banking in our country were analyzed and analyzed for this study. The studies result in the participation banking in Turkey has demonstrated its place and functioning.
