Abstract (EN)
As an inescapable aspect of today?s state of affairs, stress makes it a necessity to fight with it, and leads people to find the ways of getting it over.We encounter with working environments in organizations, just like in daily life, as atmospheres which harbor factors of stress intensively, and thereof leaders or managers of organizations, under the stress management activity, endeavors to develop and practice the ways for preventing or decreasing the negative stress on workers for escaping this situation affecting the health and productivity of workers, hence the life of organization. The succeed for the endeavors in question is depended to several factors like the distinctive characteristics of management structure of the organization.In this study, the effects of participatory leadership, which is one of the factors that affects the success of stress management, have been introduced, and the data gained from research have been presented and also interpreted. In this framework, the concepts related with participatory leadership and stress management have been analyzed and their relationships have been established first. Than, the relationship between these two concepts has been studied for explanation.In conclusion, it emerged that understanding of participatory leadership is a factor which decrease the organizational stress. Furthermore, reasons seen in the participatory leadership practices have been explored and propositions for an effective stress management have been offered. As a result, it should not be forgotten that participatory leadership has a vital role in stress relief.
