Abstract (EN)

İn this study, features of the cinema of the USSR, which included Kazakhstan until 25 December 1991, were briefly describes and examined with respect to Kazakh history, through representations of women in films from 1925 through 2010. The works produced during this period were researched. Soviet ideology, cinema of the early period and Soviet cinema of the Stalin era, socialist realism, and subjects of censorship were attempted to be treated. Soviet-era Kazakh cinema was taken as the primary focus and, with the instrumentality of the period?s films selected for analysis, treating the subject of women, the ideological structure of the films were attempted to be assessed.
