Abstract (EN)
Turkic languages are in the agglutinative language family group in terms of structure. In Turkish languages, derivational suffixes are used when creating a new word. The most important aspect of these suffixes added to the beginning or end of the word is that they create a change in meaning and function in the word by establishing a relationship with the root. The semantic classification of derived words is as important as the consistency of root and suffix harmony in word construction. In the semantic classifications made to date, semantic attributes have been given in a very scattered and conventional way (e.g. concrete-abstract, noun-adjective). This is also valid for verb-noun suffixes in Kazakh Turkish. In this study, it is aimed to group the nouns derived from verbs with noun formation suffixes in Kazakh Turkish, taking into account their structure and meaning features, and to determine the meaning groups that these suffixes are effective in deriving. All examples in the semantic classification were scanned and compiled from Turkey Turkish-Kazakh Turkish (2019) prepared by K. Koç, A. Bayniyazov and V. Başkapan. In this regard, the study is limited to the nouns derived from verbs in Kazakh Turkish with the noun formation suffix, and the words made from verbs will be shown with the semantic classification suggested by us. The scope of the study is limited to contemporary Kazakh Turkish in terms of vocabulary, and the dictionary to be taken as basis for this dialect is the dictionary named Kazakh Turkish-Turkey Turkish Dictionary. The sample area of the study will be created in the form of nouns derived from verbs, based on the words in this dictionary. A comparative method will not be used in the study, and mostly structural analysis, explanation and definition methods will be used. To limit the study, only nouns derived from verb roots were included. Derived nouns that we cannot reconcile the verb with the verb and cannot place in a category are not included in the classification. In some nouns with a compound structure, a noun formation suffix from the verb has been detected. Therefore, compound words with derivational suffixes are included. The study will have resource scanning, structural review, classification and listing stages. In the data in the review section, verbs derived from verbs are shown. While preparing the study, document analysis, content analysis, inductive analysis, categorization, definition and explanation methods and techniques will be used. It is thought that the prepared thesis will be useful to facilitate new researchers by adding new information to the existing knowledge and examining the Verb Derived Nouns in Kazakh Turkish, which constitute the sample area of the study, which has not been included in the Turkish literature (Turkish Turcology) to date, and adding a semantic analysis study.
