Abstract (EN)
The spread of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) agents to the nature intentionally and unintentionally leads to serious damages on human life and also creates serious negative effects for a long time. The fact that the CBRN substances generally do not have the color, smell and taste necessitates the determination of these dangerous substance agents only with special measuring equipment and personnel must have personal protective equipment with different levels of protection to avoid exposure to these substances during the detection and intervention stages. Therefore, in order to prevent the threats and dangers of CBRN and to reduce the damages that may occur, all public institutions, especially the disaster response teams under the Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Presidency, have important responsibilities. In this study, CBRN Service Group Operation Plan in Adana has been investigated. In the case of a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear hazard that may occur as a secondary or primary disaster under the Adana Disaster Response Plan, our intention is protection of the public health and the environment, taking necessary measures to minimize the loss of life and property. What kind of methods were determined to determine the type of the event, how the hot, warm and cold security zone boundaries were determined, how it started and maintained the purification activities, and how the method used in search and rescue activities in the polluted area has been examined. The aim of this study is to create a more effective intervention system for CBRN events by implementing and by scrutinizing incident response methods to minimize the risks of CBRN.
