Investigation of endohelminthes in fish caught in Cemisgezek region (zone 4) of Keban Dam Lake

Abstract (EN)

In this study, a total of 210 fish consist of 52 Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758, 49 Capoeta trutta (Heckel, 1843), and 53 Lucio barbus mystaceus (Pallas, 1814) fished between October 2015 and March 2016 in the Keban Dam Lake, Cemisgezek region were researched. It was seen that 173 of the examined fish were infected. In the infected fish, four species of parasites were detected. According to the autopsy results, a total of 2 parasites were detected, one of which is Diplostomum sp., in the eye fluid and the other is Khawia sinensis in the intestines of the Cyprinus carpio. A total of 2 parasit species were determined, one of which is Diplostomum sp., in the eye fluid and the other is Neoechinorhynchus rutili in the intestines of the Capoeta trutta. It was detected Diplostomum sp., in the eye fluid and Neoechinorhynchus rutili in the intestines of the Lucio barbus esocinus.
