Abstract (EN)
The city as well as the identity of each entity that exists in nature are also ID. Separating the components that define the city is the urban identity markers. Urban identity-forming factors are historical, formal, physical, socio-cultural and economic factors. But with the Industrial Revolution, urban areas migration increased with the city and its surrounding business opportunities. Therefore, urban population increase in urban areas and social, cultural, economic and environmental value of consumption was raised. Cultural heritage neglected with rapid and unplanned urbanization, today's cities identity enter negative process of change, so cities losing their originality has evolved into a form similar urban cities. In this time when the city of deindividuation process, Amasra's urban identity of the sustainability is evaluated. In Turkey Istanbul's Yoros Castle and Galata Tower, Izmir's Foça Castle and Çavdarlı Castle, Düzce's Akçakoca Castle, Sinop's Castle and Bartın's Amasra Castle of Genoese era are included in Ukraine's UNESCO Tentative World Heritage List is located "Trading Posts and Fortifications on Genoese Trade Routes from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea" of topic nomination file and this application "Trading Posts and Fortifications on Genoese Trade Routes from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea" with name added UNESCO Tentative World Heritage List in 15.04.2013. As well as in this applicant process Amasra's has hosted many civilizations throughout history, natural and cultural features, it has provided the selected workspace. Amasra's urban identity of sustainability within the objectives of the study are as follows: To reveal the factors constituting identity of the city, The sustainability of urban identity of local management, public institutions and organizations, Civil Society Organization (CSO) and university will be make depth interview that result will be determine strengths weaknesses opportunities threats (SWOT), Amalfi Coast in Italiy and Angra do Heorismo in Portugal cities selected in UNESCO World Heritage List and this cities' identities protect for adopt management approach will be determined to appropriate Amasra, Istanbul Historic Peninsula Site Management, Bursa (Khans Area-Sultan Complexes) and Cumalıkızık Managament Plan, Diyarbakır Fortress and Hevsel Gardens Cultural Landscape Management Plan, Mudurnu Cultural Heritage Area Management Plan in Turkey investigate management plan these plans will be determined to appropriate Amasra, Management model will be prepared sustainability of urban identity. Study was carried out in the scope of data collection related to research area and issue, field work, data input to a computer (digitization) and analyze and interpretation via computer software programs (such as NETCAD 7.6 GIS), setting up landscape management model, and identifying results and proposals. In the data collection and field work phase, current situation, potential and problems of the area was introduced and made depth interview local management, public institutions and organizations, CSO. actual photographs compared with obtained depth interviews of Amasra's historic photographs and satellite images compared between 2003-2009-2014 years than structuring was examined on the urban identity effect. In data input phase, urban image items of Amasra made spatial analysis (Occupancy-Gap Analysis, Public Buildings Analysis, Proprietary Structures Analysis, Avenue-Street Types of Analysis, Permeability Analysis, Human Scale Analysis, Island-Parcel Pattern Analysis, Public Space Analysis, Positive-Negative Space Analysis, Readability Analysis, Çekiciler Bazaar Analysis, Image Analysis). Management Plan in Turkey and World was interpreted than was determined management plan indicator. These indicator management; conservation-planning-quality of life; accessibility; the perception of the importance and value of the area; education, awareness and participation; promotion, tourism and visitor management; risk management including is collected seven title. In results and proposals phase, alternative conservation objectives, strategies, actions, responsible and relevant institutions for the solution of the problems was identified and the most appropriate of it was be selected by quantitative methods.
