Keşfü'l-keşf (Review-transcribed text)

One of the main sources of Old Turkish literature, whose content was enriched with works in many genres, subjects, and forms from the 13th century to the 19th century, is religion. No matter what type of work one is interested in, the Islamic religion or its influence will be seen somewhere in its content. Keşfü'l-Keşf is included in the National Library Manuscripts collection with the code "06 Mil Yz A 725". This work, called Keşfü'l-Keşf, which is the subject of the study, is a religious-didactic work that was probably copied in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. This is an example of the type of advice found in religious-didactic works. Advice books are works in verse or prose written to influence their period and the following periods, sometimes directing people in general and sometimes statesmen and administrators towards goodness, truth, and beauty. The methods used for this purpose may vary. It can be addressed to a general audience, or the messages intended to be conveyed can be given in the language of a father advising his child. The advice given in Keşfü'l-Keşf is on religious topics such as prayer, fasting, doomsday, zakat, alms, and is therefore supported by verses, hadiths and small religious stories. In the study, the work named Keşfü'l-Keşf was transcribed, and a thematic study was conducted on the text. Key Words: Keşfü'l-Keşf, religion, advice, verse, hadith.
