Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, a program has been developed in MATLAB environment, for the analysis of fractional order control systems. The programs in the literature developed for this subject are examined and the advantages and disadvantages of these programs are investigated. In the light of these information, the program developed in this thesis has been aimed to be easy to use for end users. The step response in time domain, the Bode, Nyquist and Nichols plots in frequency domain can be easily obtained for integer order and fractional order control systems using the program. These plots can also be obtained for the integer order and fractional order control systems with parametric uncertainty. On the other hand, the algorithms to obtain the Bode and Nyquist envelopes of the systems with parametric uncertainty are included in the program. A user friendly interface has been developed to use these analysis tools easily. The program developed in this thesis is named ?UFT-FOCS? (User Friendly Toolbox for Fractional Order Control Systems). For international usage, the name of the program is given in English, and interface menu of the program is prepared in English. The main difference of the ?UFT-FOCS? from the programs available in the literature is that the usage of the ?UFT-FOCS? is relatively easy and ?UFT-FOCS? also includes the tools for systems with parametric uncertainty. Consequently, the program has been developed to be used not only by professionals but also by master and doctorate students.
