Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was carried out to reveal the effects of different sowing and stratification times on the germination of seeds of Muscari azureum Fenzl species and different applications on bulb growth. The seeds were placed in a glass jar after cleaning and 60 days were waited for the first group and 120 days for the second group for seed planting and stratification. At the end of each waiting period, seed sowing was done immediately after sowing, waiting for 15, 30, 45 and 60 days in stratification, at different times. In studies on bulb development, the plants obtained from the germinating seeds of the first group were shoved into pots and the pots were placed in climate cabinets with different light colors (daylight, daylight + red, daylight + blue and daylight + purple). The seeds obtained from the second group were planted in different media (peat, cocopeat, vermiculite and perlite) and the effects of the media on onion growth were examined by giving nutrient solution under controlled greenhouse conditions. As a result of our research, 32% and 71% of the seeds remained in the stratification medium for 45 days and 60 days, respectively. It was determined that the effect of different growing media on bulb formation was statistically significant (p <1) and the best medium was peat medium with nutrient solution for all parameters examined.
