Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of the thesis titled "Temple Type Monumental Tomb from Kibyra", the monumental tomb located outside the third degree protected area of Kibyra and designed as a temple facade was analysed. Firstly, information about the city where the structure is located was given and the necropolises, grave types and burial traditions of the city were analysed and the status of the tomb structure within the city was clarified. Afterwards, the concept of temple tomb, its origin and development are analysed and detailed information is given about the Anatolian examples designed with temple facades. The survey and reconstruction drawings of the Kibyra Temple Tomb, which constitutes the main subject, were made and its architectural fiction was revealed. In this context, the similar and different architectural features of the building were compared with the Anatolian examples, and a style critical study was carried out with the decorations on the architectural patterns and a dating proposal was presented.
