Abstract (EN)

This study will be conducted to investigate the effects of 4-week crossfit training on balance, agility and strength parameters in kick boxing athletes. The study will include 24 male athletes aged 20-25 years who are active in licensed kickboxing at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, who do not have any health problems and will participate voluntarily. The athletes participating in the study will be divided into two groups as (12) experimental and (12) control groups by random sampling method. In addition to kick boxing exercises, the experimental group will be given 60 minutes of crossfit training 3 days a week for 4 weeks. The control group will continue traditional kickboxing and strength training. Descriptive data of physical characteristics (age, height, weight and body mass index), balance, strength and agility variables of the experimental and control groups will be analyzed with SPSS (version18.0) program. The significance level of the study will be determined as p <0.05. Differences between groups; Independent Sample t-Test for variables suitable for normal distribution and Mann Whitney U Test for non-normal distribution. In order to evaluate the effect of training, the balance, strength and 505 agility will be based on the change between the pretest and posttest. The findings will be analyzed and interpreted and then written in the conclusion. It is thought that the results will be guiding coaches in different sports branches and sports scientists who want to work in this field to use crossfit training program.
