Abstract (EN)

Cinema makes parts out of sound, color and language. It reveals the new with constantly flowing images from beginning to end. While designing its reality, it is determined by existing facts. In the film, the pre-framed setting brings out the visible narrowness with costume and decoration, independent of the mind. The director constructs his dreams or concrete through imagination. The imaginary scenes in the snapshot enable the viewer to move back and forth between reality and dreams. The reality of the audience collides with the director's imagination. We question our truth or get lost in the reality of the director. There is a sharp but unknown line between fiction and truth and deception here. This study examines the concept of evil which has been introduced to the reality theme of Kim Ki Duk'sCinema and the view of man on evil, and the problem of human being. Kim Ki Duk aims at what is evil in humans and the creation of evil through the characters in his films. For this reason, firstly, the definition of human in terms of social disciplines and the concept of evil is explained through religions. Today, in the cinema, it has been evaluated by dealing with the subjects of human being on the basis of aesthetics and subject matter content. In addition, the history of South Korean cinema and Duk's biography and cinematography of director Kim Ki Duk are discussed chronologically. Kim Ki Duk films and the relationship of evil were analyzed by comparing Kim Ki Duk's films and the relation of evil, and the films used ethnographic and semiotic content analysis method. In this study, in which the concept of evil, which has been thought among most concepts, the state of reflection of human beings, it is attempted to determine how the theories of evil emerged in Kim Ki Duk's cinema. The most important of these determinations is through a different character from Kim Ki Duk's films, a sign that people always have the concept of evil, not to change evil with good, and to change shape and violence with cultural influence and beliefs.
