The role of holictic worlview in religious education in providing personality integrity

Throughout their life, the human beings try to complete their personal development. To maintain their personal development healthfully, it is important for the individuals to know themselves in integrity. And to gain this versatile perspective, the holistic world view can guide individuals. The holistic world view is the effort of individuals to realize their multi-faceted existence. When a person forms his/her personality with a holistic world view, he/she will be able to develop all his/her aspects. This study is a qualitative research on the effect of the holistic world view on the personality development. This study consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, the concept of personality is identified and the terms about personality are explained. In the second chapter, explanations are made on inheritance and physical characteristics, family, teacher, school, environment, people with identity, self-control, which are factors that affect personality development. In the third chapter, the research on the integrity of knowledge, human, emotion, thought, behaviour, time, morality, body, sociality, aesthetics and social role are submitted.
