Abstract (EN)
The study aimed to: to determine the personality traits, organizational citizenship behavior and burnout levels of employees in the plate industry; to determine whether the sub-dimensions of personality, organizational citizenship behavior and burnout differ statistically significantly according to demographic characteristics (gender, marital status, age, position in the company, education level, income and working time in the company); to determine whether there is a relationship between personality dimension and sub-dimensions and organizational citizenship behavior dimension and sub-dimensions, burnout and sub-dimensions; and to determine the effects of personality and its sub-dimensions on organizational citizenship and burnout and their sub-dimensions. The universe of research consists of the employees in the MDF production facility of the company, which is a global power in the forest products industry sector. Due to the Covid-19 disease, 153 employees were reached within the scope of the study.140 questionnaires were evaluated. As a method, face to face questionnaire method was generally used. As a result of the study, the average score of personality and organizational citizenship behavior dimensions was medium-high and the level of burnout was medium. Some sub-dimensions of personality, organizational citizenship behavior and burnout differ according to some demographic characteristics. A moderate and positive and moderate and negative relationships were found between the five factor personality and "organizational citizenship behavior and burnout", respectively. When the personality dimension is examined as a sub-dimension, there is a positive and significant relationship between the dimensions of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousnees and openness to experience and organizational citizenship behavior; a negative and significant relationship between agreeableness and conscientiousnees and burnout level; while there is a positive and significant relationship between neuroticism and burnout level, there is no significant relationship between neuroticism and organizational citizenship behavior, and between extraversion and openness to experience and burnout level. While personality has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior, personality affects the level of burnout negatively.
