Abstract (EN)

The Old Anatolian Turkish is an important period of Turkish language which developed between 13.-15. centuries. During this period many works manusciript books and their translations are written. This period in which especially religious contents are written ise one of the most plain and understandable periods of Turkish language. The subject of this study is Kitâb-ı Esrârü'l-ʿÂrifîn that a prose book belonging to the period of the Old Anatolian Turkish. This book is a part of the Manuscript Books Collection no: 199 Suna Kıraç Library of Koç Universty. This study is consists of five Chapters Introduction, Language Examine, Text, Dictionary and Facsimile of the manuscript, respectively. The Introduction Chapter, includes general information about Kitâb-ı Esrârü'l-ʿÂrifîn and subject, copies, wording of this text. In this chapter a brief information about Old Anatolian Turkish, dialect of this period and informative stories about probhets are also given. In the Language Examine Chapter, phonetical and morphological properties of this text are explained detailly. In the Text Chapter, transcription of Kitâb-ı Esrârü'l-ʿÂrifîn is done. In the Dictionary Chapter, index and meaning of words in the text are given. Facsimile of the manuscript is added to this work to make possible the comparison.
