Kinship in the Bible and the Qur'an

The purpose of this thesis is to determine the terms of kinship and the dimensions of kinship relations in The Bible and The Quran. Thus, learning the effects of beliefs on kinship relationships and to help different branches of science. In order to realize this aim, we tried to identify the kinship types in general and the different kinship terms which are used accordingly. Then we found out where these terms go, and explained how they are used. Finally, we tried to reveal the opinions of the two different community on family and kinship relations by finding the verses and sentences about the dimensions of the kinship relations of the Qur'an and the Bible.
