The phenomenon of cleanliness in the Holy Bible and The Qur'an

In this study, in which we deal with the concept of cleanliness in the Holy Bible and the Qur'an, by revealing the importance of the subject of cleanliness, by researching the point of view on the phenomenon of cleanliness; We tried to scrutinize what meanings the Holy Bible and the Qur'an attribute to the phenomenon of cleanliness and how they approach the phenomenon of cleanliness within the framework of the meaning attributed by these two main sources. In this context, in our study we have done, we have examined the meanings of the concepts of clean, cleanliness, material and spiritual cleanliness in order to be cleansed from evils and calamities, and what the types of these concepts are. The concept of cleanliness is a common concept found in all religions, and this concept is mostly included in the context of the concept of purification in religions. In this study, we analyzed the facts caused by material and spiritual pollution according to the Bible and the Qur'an, and how to clean against this pollution, and examined what the source of cleaning is and what is used in cleaning. As a result, the phenomenon of cleanliness is an important phenomenon that has a place in religions. Although the concept of cleanliness, which is a common concept in the Bible and the Qur'an, takes place both as an abstract and concrete expression, different beliefs about cleanliness have also been encountered in our research. When we go to the source of this difference, it can be explained by the fact that the geographies and social structures of the people who believe in two different holy books are different.
