Özet (EN)
In this study, in which we told Jacob in the Bible and the Quran, the importance of Jacob in the history of religions was discussed. He is the owner of the initials in many respects, and he is a prophet who draws attention with the greatness of his human qualities he possesses rather than his prophetic duty. His patience that he showed towards his seperation from his son Joseph and his test with Joseph's older brothers, his endless devotion to Allah, his resignation and the unshaken aspect in his faith against all of the problems carry him to a different status. Jacob is one of the important prophets in the two holy books. He has an important position in Judaism in terms of being the ancestor of the Israelites. Apart from his struggle with his brother Esau, Jacob's quest to gain prophecy, according to the Jewish sources, draws attention with his relationships with his son Joseph and his other sons in the both divine religions.
