Abstract (EN)

In this thesis titled Reason and Understanding of Qiyas in the Early Shiite Islamic Jurisprudence, how the evidence of reason entered the Shiite jurisprudence, the main reasons why they did not accept qiyas were examined, and it was stated with the details that all the conclusions they reached with the evidence of reason were a product of qiyas, and that this situation was an inherent necessity. The evidence of reason entered the sect with the Shia's relationship with Mu'tazila, and the acceptance that the narrations transmitted from the imams were sufficient was left aside after this period. First of all, the understanding of imamate, which lost support in terms of belief as a result of long occultation, formed the beginning of this rationalization movement, and then these studies became an authority used in solving problems reflected in fiqh. Over time, although it is not clearly expressed, the understanding of analogy has become the reference source of this system and has taken its place as the basic method in the determination of the mind. As a result, the concept of qiyas, which was strongly opposed due to sectarian motives, took its place in the Shiite jurisprudence in the following periods.
