Abstract (EN)
Numerous educational institutions offer classical guitar education, including both private and academic institutions. These institutions conduct performance exams to measure the success levels of their students, which in turn determines their proficiency levels. The study titled 'Development of a Measurement Tool for Performance Evaluation for Classical Guitar' aimed to create a scale for guitar instructors to measure success levels objectively and accurately. The problem of whether the classical guitar performance scale is a valid and reliable scale was addressed by determining four dimensions and twenty items, including 'Sitting and Holding Position', 'Right and Left Hand Techniques', 'Accuracy of Performance', and 'Recognition of the Handle of the Guitar'. The inter-question reliability of the test was assessed using Cronbach's Alpha reliability analysis in IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0.2.0. Six candidates voluntarily answered the questions and provided videos. The videos were then evaluated by expert academics, and the results were determined based on Fleiss Kappa analysis. This study presents a comprehensive method for revealing the processes of performance measurement and scale development in classical guitar education. Technical term abbreviations are explained when first used. The structure has a logical flow of information with causal connections between statements. The literature review examines previous studies on education, art education, and music education to identify areas where contributions can be made. No changes in content have been made. The theoretical part is formed by examining existing theses on instrument education and classical guitar education. The language is clear, objective, and value-neutral, with a formal register and consistent technical terms. The text is free from grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation errors.
