Women perception of classical Islamic morality thoughts

In this study, the status of women was tried to be examined according to the views of Classical Islamic Moral Philosophers. The context in which the Islamic Moralists discuss women in their classical period books was evaluated. It was seen that Islamic moral philosophers evaluate the women and her morals, duties and position in terms of their family relations with a perspective that synthesizes philosophy and Islam. Another question to which the answer was sought in the study was why the views of moral philosophers present in their books were similar or diverged with little difference. An attempt was made to answer this problem by contacting the understanding of knowledge that prevailed in the periods of philosophers. In the study, classical moral thinkers and texts were systematically gathered and examined, and as a method, and the works included in the research were transferred by making a descriptive reading. The issue of morality is the most basic act of human being. In this respect, moral inquiries are inevitable in the world of existence, in which man is involved. In this context, in this study, the answer to the question of how the woman was included in the moral field within the scope of classical moral philosophers was investigated.
