Abstract (EN)

Koran is a divine book which demonstrates a livable lifestyle by giving examples from past tribes, explaining command and rules with the examples from Messenger of Allah to addressees and which even if it is sent to an Arabian tribe in Arabic all human beings are responsible to read and understand till doomsday since it is sent to guide human beings. Since Kelâm-I Kadîm (Koran) containing these qualifications was sent in the language of addressee tribe and to a prophet within them, interpretation of Koran became easier. However, soon after it was sent, being seen by non-Arabian tribes made it gradually difficult to understand. These difficulties made ulema to designate duties that need to make glossator to understand Koran correctly. In this study, it is aimed to contribute to solution of the issue by detecting glossator thoughts in classical and modern period through analyzing writings on that subject. With this manner, in the first chapter, necessity of interpretation was talked about by focusing on interpretation and gloss concepts, then interpretation methods of first three generation, especially companion generation which contributed a lot to interpretation of Koran were evaluated. In the second chapter, classical period glossator thought was revealed by detecting conditions which classical ulema sought for glossator in writings for Koran and interpretation introductions. In the third chapter, it is aimed to detect modern period glossator perception by talking about glossator thought asserted within the scope of modern period interpretation approaches. As a conclusion, style and conditions needed for interpretation from companion age to now were analyzed, it was seen that supplementary elements to understand Koran for a correct interpretation were determined by classical ulema, it was emphasized that those who interpret Koran should show sensitivity to obey these conditions. However, alternative conditions asserted within the framework of different approaches in modern period both could not offer a systematic style and method considering divine and godsend nature characteristics of Koran and made it difficult to understand.
