Abstract (EN)
Manzum Nasihatnameler stand out in classical Turkish literature as a didactic genre, primarily aiming to convey moral, social, and societal values through advice to the reader. Alongside the Kutadgu Bilig, numerous prose, poetic, or mixed-form nasihatname examples have emerged in classical Turkish literature. Various poetic forms like mesnevi, kaside, gazel, and terci-i bend were utilized in composing manzum nasihatnameler, enriching the works and allowing for diverse literary styles and content. These nasihatnameler, aspiring to create an ideal society, offer valuable advice to individuals and society. An examination of these works reveals the strong connection between classical Turkish literature and the public. Nasihatnameler are fundamentally centered on humanity, providing in-depth insights into every aspect of human life and emphasizing societal values and individual behaviors. Therefore, these texts transcend being mere literary products; they serve as significant guides for society. This study comprises an introduction and two chapters. The introduction addresses the research's significance, purpose, methodology, limitations, and the poets whose nasihatnames were examined. The first chapter delves into the content, reasons for composition, form and structure, stylistic features, and sources of nasihatnames, along with analyses of manzum nasihatnames in Turkish literature. The second chapter identifies and evaluates topics related to social life within the examined nasihatnames. Keywords: Nasihat, Poetic Nasihatname, Social Life, Value.
