Abstract (EN)
The history of classical Turkish poetry is a tradition based on the past, and odes have a signifıcants role in the verse forms of this tradition. Document redifs, which are complementary to the poetry, are one of the important factors of the ode verse form. This study includes odes with "tîg" redif, which are stated to each other as nazires. The word "tîg", which means sword, is one of the important elements reflecting the culture of war in the Ottoman period. The sword, which is also called with words such as seyf, şemşir, Hüsam in Classical Turkish poetry takes place in texts in the form of justice and sword, knowledge and sword, courage and sword, tongue and sword, religious belief and sword, friendship and sword, enmity and sword, power and sword, bravery and sword. In the study, "tîg" was initially defıned and described, and the relationship between "memduh-tîg" in odes was examined in the context of mentality through the manifestation of the culture formed around sword in the Ottoman period in Classical Turkish poetry. The number of texts taken as a basis in the analysis is seven, the fırst of which belongs to the 15th century poet Necâtî Bey, and it is accepted as a ground poem. When the poems analyzed following this ode are listed chronologically, it is seen that they were said by Lâmi'î Çelebi, Hayâlî, Mahremî, İshak Çelebi firom Skopje, Emani and Ata from Skopje in the 16th century. In the study, these odes said in the tradition of nazîre were compared with each other within the framework of the methodological model adopted, and their common, similar and different features were revealed in tables and graphics. In the study conducted, the elements that constitute the mentality of the poem were revealed by philosophically approaching the natural events, cosmic elements, customs and traditions and Islamic values, which were processed in the odes of the poets'.
