The sence of satisfaction and utilization from the governmental assistance for to SMEs: In case of Afyonkarahisar

The first step for the purpose of this study; information is to give with respect to the current situation and importance of, and determination of main problems faced by SME's in our country. Second step is to determine the main problems faced by SME's operating in Afyonkarahisar and to what extent they have information about governmental assistance, whether they take advantage of them and, if they do, their level of satisfaction and the reasons why they do not use these assistance. For this purpose, a questionnaire linked to this subject was designed and carried out one-to-one with managers and owners of 99 SME's operating in Afyonkarahisar Center. According to the analyses conducted, of SME's operating in Afyonkarahisar; the problems most frequently faced my SME'S were found to be the inability to employ qualified staff, insufficient information level with respect to the funding programs and utilization of programs at a low level, mostly the reasons of non-utilization are inadequacies in the promotions of assistance, complexity in the process of application for the assistance and the bureaucratic barriers.
