Abstract (EN)
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have an important place both in the world economy and in the country's economy. The concept of institutionalization is very important for SMEs to be compatible with the environment, to follow the innovations, to ensure that their activities are permanent with certain standards and order, that is to make them more systematic. In this study, the institutionalization level of SMEs operating in Batman province is emphasized. In this context, 232 SMEs were surveyed and statistical analyzes were performed according to the data obtained from the survey. According to the data obtained and as a result of the analyzes applied, it is understood that SMEs have serious problems in terms of institutionalization and most of the SMEs are far from an institutional structure.
