In this study, the products of folklore about Koçarlı region like; birth, marriage, death traditions, feasts, ceremonies, festivals, folk beliefs, cuisine and profession of doctor and anonymous literature were mentioned.In the first section about the traditions of folklore, informations which had been taken from written sources were explained how verbal soruces say, before collected traditions and believes from verbal sources were informed. In the evaluation, the connection of old Turkish culture with traditions and believes that were taken from verbal sources were tried to establish.In the second section including anonymous folk literature; products of in verse, written in verse-prose and prose, anonymous folk literature are explained and written both how the verbal sources said and as considered features of İstanbul?s idiom. Also, there are theatrical plays and childrens?s plays in this section. At the end of this work there is also a dictionary including local words, maps and photografs from different places of the region.During of this search, it is understood that Koçarlı folk culture is inspired from old Turkish culture and believes which were moved from past to present.
