Abstract (EN)

This thesis, which defends the immanence of the political in philosophy within the scope of philosophy's relationship with the political, departed from the Japanese Philosopher Kojin Karatani and limited itself to the philosophers and problematics that Karatani dealt with. The study consists of three parts. In the first chapter, it was concluded that the struggle against capitalism should be shifted from the production line to the exchange line in parallel with the Marx reading made on Kant, based on Karatani's Transcritique work, and this is based on the expansion of the political in transcendental philosophy. In the second part, based on the work of The Structure of World History, the world history reading of Karatani from the perspective of exchange styles has been examined, continuing from the exchange, which is the place reached in the first part. In this parallel, the modes of exchange corresponding to the triple structure of capital, nation, and state, which must be overcome at the same time to create alternative societies to capitalism, were defined and examined, and the final mode of exchange, which could create a different sociality by overcoming this tripartite structure, was revealed. This part also served as a bridge connecting the first part and the third part of the thesis study. In the third part, the Ionian period, in which the mode of exchange, which will go beyond the triple structure outlined in the second part, was realized, was examined based on the İsonomia and the Origins of Philosophy. The study of this period is based on the concept of isonomia, and the politics in Ionian philosophy. It has been evaluated how Ionia and Ionian philosophy, which is seen as the place where philosophy started, expresses a culmination in Karatani's intellectual medium and how it can offer horizons for new societies that can be an alternative to the capitalist world economy and the societies created by it today. In this framework, the primary goal of the study is to reveal, based on Karatani, that the politics is not a "subject of subjects" that is added to philosophy later or that philosophy takes as an object of research, but that it is always an inherent factor in philosophy itself. Key words: Karatani, Kant, Marx, Ionia, Isonomia, The Political
