Noun phrases in Köktürk Bengü Stones

Many studies have been made and are being done about Köktürk Bengü Stones. However, noun phrases in these works have not been examined alone. Noun phrases are a subject that needs to be emphasized in Kokturk. In this study, in which the noun phrases in Köktürk Bengü Stones are examined, it is aimed to determine the frequency of use of noun phrases and the sentence patterns of these noun phrases in bengü stones. The noun phrases on the bengü stones were scanned and classified as sub-headings according to the type of the predicate noun, its place, meaning, time and sentence patterns-item numbers. First of all, the noun phrases on bengü stones were scanned by using Ahmet Bican ERCILASUN's work titled Türk Kaganlığı and Türk Bengü Taşları. In the planning of the study, the Syntax of Alyılmaz's Orkhon Inscriptions was used. Then, the usage characteristics of these determined sentences were determined. The subject of sentences and noun phrases in both general Turkish and Kök Turkish has been scanned from the relevant sources and the opinions of the researchers on this subject have also been included. In the study, a literature review was made on the subjects of sentence, predicate, subject, object, place complement, adverbial clause and non-sentence elements, noun clauses, and then the opinions of the researchers on these subjects were given. This study consists of "Preface", "Introduction", "First Part- Sentence", "Second Part- Noun Clauses", "Third Part- Analysis" and "Conclusion" sections. Finally, in the "Resources" section, studies that are directly or indirectly used are included.
