Abstract (EN)

In patients with cardiovascular disease, ECG (Electrocardiography) recording and pulse data must be monitored. Frequently used ECG devices provide output on paper and do not transfer data to a computer. In this case, it is not possible to store, compare and analyze patient data. Holter devices used today can record ECGs by remaining on the patient for 12-72 hours. The records on this device are transferred to the computer and reported in digital format and in printed form. The report is interpreted by physicians, and if necessary, the diagnosis and treatment process is initiated. The large number of electrodes and long cables used in these recording devices not only cause discomfort to the patient, but also add noise to the signals. In some of the new generation devices that will transfer data via wires or wirelessly, the control unit and sensors are on separate cards. In this study; a device that is integrated on a single card that performs the reading, recording and transferring of ECG and respiratory data has been designed and manufactured. The device is lightweight, ergonomic, less affected by noise with short electrode cables and integrated on a single card with only three electrodes. In the device designed using an embedded system, the data received from the user has been recorded and transmitted to a database in real time. The received EGK data is strengthened, filtered, digitized and transferred to the computer. The pulse rate per minute is calculated with a software on the embedded system. The device is placed in the middle of the chest cage with the designed ergonomic and health-friendly covers. Patient-specific data can be transferred to the relevant physician via the created mobile software. The design will also be very useful for patient monitoring in intensive care units.
