The Relationships Between Leucocyte count and Leucocyte Subgroups in colostrum wiht the Prenatal, Natal Clinical Risk FactorsHuman milk is a unique fluid that contains several vitamin, mineral, carbonhydrate, lipid, protein, enzyme and cells. First choice for infant nutrition is mother milk including sick and premature neonates. The protective and immunologic properties of human milk make it a cheap, safe oral vaccine which dosen?t nedd cold chain so prevent one billion children deaths in a year. Its demonstrated that, cell, immunglobulines and other factors in human milk have rol on improving immun system and preventing infections. Reports are indicated the roles of improving immune system and preventing infections cells, immunglobulines and other factors in mother milk. Meanwhile there are many reports investigating differences of lipid, protein, carbonhydrate, vitamin, mineral contents of human milk regarding to prenatal, natal and the other risk factors. However there are limited studies about the effects of those factors on cellular charecteristics of human milk. In our study we investigated the relationships between celluler content and lympocyte subgrup of human colostrum and perinatal, natal and other clinical risk factors.In our study leucocyte count, differential count and leucocyte surface marker percantage are not affected with mothers? age, postpartum BMI and delivery type whileas multiparity leads to an increases of CD45RO and CD19 percentage. Concurrently drug using decreases mother milk leucocyte count however smoking increases CD16-56 percentage. While preterm delivery doesn?t affect human milk leucocyte count, there is negative correlation between gestational age and human milk macrophage percentage and positive correlation with CD16-56. Moreover with maturation of human milk CD3, CD4 percentage and leucocyte count decreases but CD14 percentage increases. Mother?s whose offsprings? weighted below 2500 gr had lower CD45RO and CD16-56 percentage in their colostrum comparive to those above 2500 gr. In colostrum of mothers who have a sicks baby, macrophage percentage is higher but neutrophile percentage is lower. Eventually mother milk leucocyte count is affected by sampling time, parity and maternal drugs consumption.
