Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is the examination of institutionalization, intellectual capital and competitive relationships in the context of accommodation establishments. Samples of the study consist of 4 and 5-star accommodation comprise business managers in Antalya. The data collected with the help of developed scales to examine institutionalization, the intellectual capital and competitive relationships was analyzed with statistical methods like structural equation modeling and regression analysis. Analysis results show the existence of a relationship between institutionalization, intellectual capital and competitiveness. Intellectual capital seems to be more effective compared to the institutionalization for predicting the competitiveness. Positive and significant correlation between customer capital, human capital and competitiveness is attained from the intellectual capital of the elements and the most predictive factor of the competitiveness is found to be customer capital with these elements. Social responsibility dimension, a part of institutionalization, was the most influential factor predicting competitiveness. The findings were discussed with the support of relevant literatüre, was reviewed and presented suggestions for practitioners and researchers.
