Abstract (EN)
In this study, the bryophyte flora of Koramaz Valley (Kayseri) was investigated. As a result of the identification of 611 bryophyte specimens in 336 sample envelopes collected from various habitats, a total of 94 taxa belonging to 35 genera and 14 families were determined. Among these taxa, Tortula lingulata (Dicks.) Lindb. was recorded for the second time from Turkey, while 7 taxa are new records dor the B8 square. The most species-rich families in the study area are Pottiaceae (36 taxa), Grimmiaceae (12 taxa), Orthotrichaceae (9 taxa), Brachytheciaceae (8 taxa), and Bryaceae (8 taxa) while, the most species-rich genera are Syntrichia (12 taxa), Didymodon (10 taxa), Grimmia (9 taxa) and Orthotrichum (8 taxa). The most widespread species in the area are Tortula brevissima Schiffn., Syntrichia virescens (De Not.) Ochyra, and Amblystegium serpens (Hedw.) Schimp.
