Abstract (EN)

In this study, essentially Isik-Kol and Narin Dialects of Kyrgyz language are addressed. Phonetics collected after field study in Narin and Isik-Kol are examined. During the field study; in accordance with dialectologically data collection methods; besides some prepared questions; investigation and observation methods are also used in the natural flow of the conversation. In the transcription process; the alignment of villages in Narin and Isik-Kol is taken into consideration. After the transcription , every source person is enumerated by his or her own region. In addition to above; the phonetics of Narin and Isik-Kol is analyzed with the synchronic and asynchronous chronological method. For the transcription; the alphabet which is suggested for Anatolian dicalects by Turkish Language Society (TDK) is used. For some vocals and marks which are not found in TDK; some specific diacritics and vocals of IPA are preferred. In this study some vocals in Narin and Isik-Kol which are absent in standard Kyrgyz language; are explained with plenty of examples. Besides the usage of old Turkic vowels and consonants in Kyrgyz Language, the quality and the quantity of those vowels and consonants in Narin and Isik-Kol dialects are analyzed. In the phonetics study significant cases are reviewed in detail. The original forms and Turkish translations of texts in both dialects, Narin and Isik-Kol, are expressed.
