Abstract (EN)
Changes on the world stage associated with the collapse of the socialist camp in the late 1980s allowed the presidential system of government to spread further. This study analyzes the factors determining the adoption of the presidential system in general in the post-Soviet period in Kyrgyzstan, the establishment of the presidential system, the change and transformation it has experienced over time, and its current situation.
