Dr. Çetin BEKTAŞThis study consists of four main parts which is aiming to present the generalframework of effective crisis management and to measure the preparedness oforganizations against a possible crisis in analyzed sample sector.In part one, the concept of crisis, its definition, its main features and resourcesare analyzed generally.In the second part, while focusing on phases and results of process of crisis,costs and probable benefits of crisis to organizations are tried to explain.In the third part, the concept of crisis management is analyzed in its alldimensions.And finally in the fourth part, field survey is found that is to measure the levelof preparedness of textile organizations in Denizli against a possible crisis.
