Suicide has an important position among the deaths seen in adolescents and teens in high school age. This research was carried out descriptively to evaluate the peer relations and suicide probability of high school students. The universe of the study was composed of 12242 students in 25 high schools in the city center of Provincial Directorate of National Education of Kırıkkale during the 2018-2019 academic year. According to the stratification sampling method, 372 students formed the sample of the study. Required permissions and ethical approval for research were obtained. Descriptive questionnaire, peer relations scale (PRS) and suicide probability scale (SPS) were used to collect data. Data were analyzed in SPSS program. 60.0% of the high school students in this study were female and 59.4% were in the 16-17 age group 90.0% of high school students did not work in any job; 90.9% of them did not have chronic disease, 6.0% had psychological illness, 55.5% of them perceive the success level as medium, 63,1% of them have good health perception, When the demographic variables and scales were compared, statistical significance was determined (p <0.05) between gender and psychological illness status and peer relationship scale. In addition, statistical significance was determined (p <0.05) between the psychological state of illness, the state of success, the feeling happy condition, the state of health and the state of psychological illness in the family and the probability of suicide. Finally, a statistically significant relationship was detected between the peer relationship scale sub-dimensions and suicide probability scale sub-dimensions (p <0.05). As a result, it is seen that the sociademographic characteristics of high school students affect peer relationship and suicide probability and also affect the suicide probability of peer relationships. Students whose peer relations are not good and who are considered to be suicidal can be identified and nursing programs to support those students can be improved.
