Akhism studies in Kırşehir and Akhi Father Mustafa Karagüllü (1928-2018)

Akhism is a civilian structuring that has been active in a period of nearly 700 years with its functional characteristics on Turkish people's life, thought, culture, morality, social and economic life. Akhism, which aimed at establishing a solid and orderly society structure, expanding science and art, increasing production and raising living standards by prioritizing humanitarian virtues, also has been one of the keystones of the Turkization and Islamization process of Anatolia by ensuring that hold on this land the Turkmen who migrated to Anatolian lands. Kirşehir is a city of history and culture where located the tomb of Ahi Evran, the founder of the Akhism organization. In addition to being a center where the organization was ruled for centuries, it has also been the center of efforts to Akhism promote and live in the 20th and 21st centuries when Akhism lost its functionality. Mustafa Karagullu (1928-2018), who was born in this city, is also one of the leading actors of these efforts. Having spent most of his life for the development of Kirşehir and promoting Akhism, Karagullu has been deemed worthy of the title of "Ahi Baba" as a result of his sacrifice. The illumination of her work on akhism and life of Mustafa Karagullu who passed away in 2018 is also necessary for the determination of him services to Kirşehir and Akhism culture. At this point, after giving general information about Akhism, sources of Akhism and Ahi Evran, Mustafa Karagullu's life and her Akhism activities were determined chronologically. Lastly, it has been mentioned about the bibliographic tags of the works on Akhism that have been carried out so far in Kırşehir, which is the spiritual center of Akhism.
