Abstract (EN)

Since its emergence on the stage of history, human beings have celebrated reaching the turning points of life, prioritized the relationship between nature and spirit to ensure abundance, and made some avoidances to avoid being exposed to bad and negative situations. He performed many rituals for certain purposes. In this context, toys have become the most privileged area of culture that increases the permanence of the past and directs the future. Just as no cultural element emerged and developed on its own, novices did not emerge suddenly. In Turkish culture, every ritual and ceremony has a way of implementation and the aim of continuing these practices within a certain framework. The areas where globalization and the threat of uniformization are most visible are ceremonies. Nations have begun to abandon their own cultural identities and marry in the same way as other people around the world, like the same things, and come together for the same purposes. Many celebrations such as gender parties, baby showers and bachelorette parties that are seen today under the influence of popular culture show how quickly and effectively the change and transformation in ceremonies takes place. People affected by this change and transformation have become unable to enjoy their own cultural heritage over time. It has been observed that many values, especially language, have disappeared. In this context, the aim of our study is to determine the place of the buddies, which are tried to evolve in accordance with the age, in the history of Turkish culture, the changes and transformations in practices, and to contribute to what can be done to keep them alive. While investigating the wedding ceremonies on site in Kırşehir, which is the research area of our study, the reasons why people came together and the reflections of the changes that occurred in the process from the first form of ceremonial practices to the present day were identified. In addition, the effects of the rituals, entertainments and oral products that the buddies contain on people and society are mentioned. The transfer of culture, education, sociological, psyhcological, entertainment, economic and political functions have been mentioned. Keywords: Kırşehir, toy, rıtuel, festival, celebration.
