Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study; As acidic pumice, aggregate belonging to Nevşehir region, which is one of our natural resources, it is aimed to produce self-compacting lightweight concrete as a result of using waste marble powder, which is industrial waste and obtained from Kırşehir region, as cement replacement material in different ratios (0%, 5%, 10% and 15%). The samples produced as a result of the study were aimed to obtain a building material with a superior physical and mechanical properties compared to self-compacting lightweight concrete. In this context, the properties of self-compacting lightweight concretes in fresh and hardened form were investigated. To determine the fresh concrete properties; fresh concrete unit weight, slump-spreading, V funnel, L box and U box test and fresh concrete weight per unit of volume test were performed. In order to determine the hardened concrete properties, water absorption, dry unit weight test, compressive strength test, tensile split strength tests were applied. As a result of the study; It has been determined that the use of 15% marble powder is suitable for the production of self-compacting lightweight concrete. The use of industrial wastes such as marble dust in concrete production is important for both environmental pollution and sustainability.
