Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the water resources of Küçük Menderes Basin, where the surface water potential is largely allocated to agricultural activities, are modeled with the WEAP (Water Evaluation And Planning System) program developed by the Stockholm Environment Institute. Within the scope of the study, the irrigation dams (Beydağ, Burgaz, Bademli, Rahmanlar, Aktaş, Ergenli and Uladı) operating in the basin and irrigation areas of 1000 hectares and above were taken into account. The baseline hydrological situation is expressed using average flow values observed between 1980 and 2014. Three different scenarios (optimistic, reference and pessimistic) were defined by changing the situations that will occur in water transmission losses and water use rates in the basin under these flow conditions. In addition, the worst possible situation of the basin was examined under the name of "Dry Years Scenario" by combining the dry period flows and the pessimistic scenario. According to the results of the analysis, it has been determined that there is a deficit in the water budget under each scenario in the 2010-2050 period, and this deficit is 38.106 under the reference scenario, 13,4.106 m3 under the optimistic scenario, 80. 106 m3 under the pessimistic scenario and 135.106 m3 under the dry years scenario.
