Abstract (EN)

Compliance with safety regulations on high-rise work platforms is still being discussed today. As a rule, accidents are due to the lack of appropriate personnel qualifications, safety violations and reduced safety costs. a single action is not enough to reduce the risk of accidents on construction sites and minimize the causes. Long-term measures are needed to change the awareness, attitude and habits of employees and employers. This also requires a certain investment. Investments in the practical implementation of security systems, a detailed design should be applied. This work was carried out on various small construction sites in the provinces of Yozgat, Kayseri and Sivas. At these construction sites, the data was collected with 410 employees, including workers and employers from any profession, regardless of the professional industry. It was found that in the working areas in general, the basic labor protection rules were not observed, PPE was not used, and no measures were taken against the factors that would lead to industrial accidents, that the labor protection education and training provided at a high level remained only on paper.
